Bengali Sweet House TM brings to you a wide
range of gourmet desserts hand-made from the finest ingredients,
providing you with the taste and flavors of India’s sweet

| The
most popular mithai are made from either milk, nuts or
flour-based ingredients.
These wholesome favorites include Kheer, Chenna
(Indian Fresh Cheese), katlis, Barfi, Jalebi, Halwa, and
Ladoo. Most
sweets are made by removing the moisture from milk to create
khoya, or Mawa. After
this process is complete, butter, sugar and various other
flavors, such as cardamom seeds, fennel seeds, nutmeg, and
cinnamon are added to create the unique varieties.
Some sweets may also contain flowery scents from
sandalwood, Khas (Vetiver), Kewra (Screwpine), saffron and
rose water, giving your palate a delightful experience.
Indian sweets are then decorated and garnished with cashews,
raisins, almonds, pistachio, saffron and the like, creating
individual masterpieces.
